Add some spice to your life with these Low (Ish) resolution Calycanthus bushes! Other wise known as the Carolina Spice Flower, they hail from North America ( the clue is in the name) and are part of the under-story in warm , moist, wooded environments. With sweetly scented flowers whose oil is used in the perfume industry, these are the perfect foil for some of the larger north american tree species and great for planting around a digital water course or damp canyon.

As always a few variations in the Y rotation and Scale values can make one plant and its instances look like many - these are reasonably low polygon and intended for mid to distant placement,thus perfect for adding to a landscape either using a scatter program or other software such as alienator - though the flowers will stand up to closer inspection.

Use these great little shrubs to fill out your south western landscapes, garden borders, containers or indeed anywhere where their understated magnolia like blooms will bring a splash of sophistication to your scenes!
